  1. Call one of the above, there all around $19.95 a month unlimited access, Then get your USER NAME and PASSWORD. They are upper and lower case sensitive so write down exactly what they are.

  1. To enjoy the web you must have at least a 28,000 baud modem. The old 14ks don't cut it with all the graphics everyone is using. You'll need min 16megs RAM preferably 32.

  1. Windows95 is a must, as Win31 will not exceed 19,000 even with a 56,000 modem without special software. Win95 will handle 115200k if needed.

  1. A slow Pentium will not slow you down too much. The modem speed is more of an issue then the processor speed when it comes to the web. Any PC that runs Win95 well can be turned into a good web box.
